The Role

As a Software Quality Engineer, you will establish and maintain quality standards across our AI-powered platform. You'll design comprehensive testing strategies that ensure reliability, performance, and data integrity while our product scales. Your work will be critical in delivering a seamless user experience and maintaining the trust our users place in our intelligent systems.

You Will

  • Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies for AI-powered features and real-time data systems

  • Build automated test suites covering unit, integration, and end-to-end testing scenarios

  • Develop performance testing frameworks to validate sub-20ms response time requirements

  • Create testing protocols for complex third-party integrations (CRM, financial, communication, and development tools)

  • Implement data integrity validation systems to ensure accuracy across synchronization pipelines

  • Design and execute privacy and security testing to validate user data isolation and namespace separation

  • Build observability and monitoring dashboards to track system reliability and performance metrics

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to establish quality gates and CI/CD best practices

  • Investigate and document bugs, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution

  • Create and maintain testing documentation and quality metrics reporting

Must Have

  • 3+ years of experience in software quality engineering or test automation

  • Strong proficiency in automated testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar)

  • Experience testing API integrations and webhook-based systems

  • Solid understanding of testing methodologies including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript)

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration

  • Strong analytical and debugging skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to write clear, comprehensive test plans and bug reports

  • Experience testing database operations and data integrity

Nice to Have

  • Experience testing AI/ML systems or LLM-powered applications

  • Background in performance testing and load testing tools (k6, JMeter, or similar)

  • Knowledge of vector database testing and semantic search validation

  • Experience testing real-time data synchronization systems

  • Familiarity with security testing and privacy compliance validation (GDPR, SOC 2)

  • Understanding of SaaS platforms with complex multi-tenancy requirements

  • Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, New Relic, or similar)

  • Knowledge of accessibility testing standards (WCAG)

  • Background in testing financial or business intelligence applications
