Haleos, Inc. (“Haleos,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the people and companies who trust us with their information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use Haleos websites, products, and services, including Jane, JaneOS1, AtlasOS1, Haleos Education, waitlists, demonstrations, voice experiences, and career applications (together, the “Services”).
This policy describes our privacy practices. It does not describe the internal design of Haleos technology. Haleos products are proprietary. We do not disclose the methods, systems, or know-how used to operate them.
Who is responsible
Haleos, Inc., a Delaware corporation based in Austin, Texas, is the controller of personal information collected through the public Haleos websites and related marketing, waitlist, demo, voice, and careers experiences.
When an organization provides you access to Jane, JaneOS1, AtlasOS1, or another Haleos product under that organization’s account, that organization is typically the controller of the information it submits. Haleos processes that information as a service provider or processor on the organization’s instructions, subject to our agreement with that organization.

We do not use the Services as a channel for publishing Haleos proprietary technology.
Jane and conversational features
Jane is a Haleos product. When you speak or write to Jane, the content of that interaction is processed to respond to you, to maintain the continuity of the experience you requested, and to operate and secure the feature.
We describe Jane in terms of what she helps you do. We do not describe how she is built. Conversational features are not an invitation to extract, map, or reconstruct Haleos methods, and you may not use those features for that purpose.
Voice sessions may be transcribed and retained as described at the point of use. You should not include information in a voice or written conversation that you are not prepared to share with Haleos under this policy.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the Services or as the law requires, including with:
- Vendors that provide infrastructure, communications, analytics, storage, security, and similar services under contracts that restrict their use of the information
- The organization that provides your access, when you use the Services under that organization’s account
- Professional advisors under confidentiality
- Authorities when we believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect Haleos, our users, or the public
- A successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or similar transaction, subject to this policy or a successor policy that is no less protective
We do not share Haleos proprietary technology with the public through this policy, vendor lists intended for general circulation, or other Trust Center pages.
Cookies and similar technologies
When you visit haleos.com or another Haleos-operated website, cookies and similar identifiers are collected automatically as described in our Cookie Policy. We use them to operate, secure, and measure our websites. When advertising measurement is enabled, that measurement includes tags from X, Meta, and LinkedIn.
Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet the purpose for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the context in which it was collected.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it. Backups may persist for a limited period until they rotate in the ordinary course.
Security
Haleos maintains administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. Those measures are described at the level of principle in our Data Security page. We do not publish internal control implementations, system designs, or other information that would reduce the protection we provide.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for using the Services in a manner consistent with the sensitivity of the information you submit.
International transfers
Haleos is based in the United States. If you access the Services from another country, your information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where we or our vendors operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
You may opt out of marketing emails through the unsubscribe link in those emails. You can manage or clear cookies through your browser settings. You may decline to use voice or other optional features.
To make a privacy request, email privacy@haleos.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request. If you use the Services through an organization, we may direct you to that organization for requests about information it controls.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact privacy@haleos.com and we will take appropriate steps.
